# Prevent Uninstall and Strict Session Protection

During challenging study sessions, impulse urges often tempt students to change
timer settings, disable accessibility permissions, or uninstall the study
blocker entirely. Quietube includes Strict Session Protection to safeguard your
long-term goals against momentary impulses.


UNDERSTANDING STRICT SESSION PROTECTION

When Strict Protection is toggled on inside your Quiet Session settings,
Quietube's system guard activates defense rules against bypassing:

 * System Settings Guard: Attempts to open Android System Settings, Application
   App Info, or package management screens during an active focus block are
   automatically minimized.
 * Force-Stop & Uninstall Prevention: Prevents opening the application details
   screen to force-stop or uninstall Quietube until the active study timer
   concludes.
 * Accessibility Service Protection: Blocks attempts to toggle off the
   background accessibility service while a session countdown is running.


HOW TO ENABLE STRICT PROTECTION

 1. Open the Quiet tab in Quietube.
 2. Tap on Session Preferences / Advanced Protection.
 3. Enable Strict Session Protection (Prevent Bypassing).
 4. Review and confirm the protection dialog.


WHAT TO DO IN REAL EMERGENCIES

Quietube is designed for discipline, not to trap users. In true emergencies,
devices can always be restarted, and phone calls remain completely accessible at
all times without entering system settings. Once the scheduled study timer
finishes, all restriction guards lift automatically.
