Solving Formulas from Blackboard via AI Snapshot

When studying mathematics, physics, or engineering, professors often write equations on a blackboard with skipped calculation steps. Quietube allows you to snap a photo of the blackboard frame and ask Quiet AI to solve or explain it step-by-step.

How the AI Snapshot Works

Quietube's screenshot capture pipeline grabs the active frame from the video renderer and submits it to Google Gemini's multimodal vision model:

  1. Pause the lecture on the frame containing the blackboard formula or diagram.
  2. Tap the AI Snapshot icon in the Quiet AI drawer.
  3. Quietube attaches the crisp blackboard frame snapshot to your prompt.
  4. Type your question (e.g., "Explain the derivation step between line 2 and line 3" or "What is the physical meaning of this graph?").
  5. Tap Send.

Multimodal Vision Analysis

Gemini reads the handwriting, recognizes mathematical symbols, and returns a clear, formatted explanation breaking down each algebraic step and pointing out common exam pitfalls.
