On standard video platforms, educational lectures get lost among entertainment playlists, "Watch Later" queues filled with hundreds of unwatched clips, and chaotic browser bookmarks. Quietube introduces Subject Marklistsโ€”clean, color-coded study binders built exclusively for serious students.

What is a Subject Marklist?

A Marklist is a focused collection of lectures, video chapters, and notes grouped around a specific academic course or exam syllabus (e.g., Organic Chemistry II, Data Structures & Algorithms, or UPSC Modern History).

Key Features of Marklists

  • Color Coding & Icon Customization: Assign vibrant accent colors and subject badges to each binder for rapid visual distinction.
  • Integrated Study Notes: All timestamped notes taken while watching videos in a Marklist are centralized inside the binder for effortless pre-exam review.
  • Progress Tracking: Visual indicators show exactly how many lectures in the binder you have completed and your total study hours.
  • Offline & Cloud Synchronization: Marklists are instantly accessible via local cache and securely synced to your cloud account.

How to Create and Manage a Marklist

  1. From the bottom navigation bar, tap Library / Marklists.
  2. Tap the + New Marklist button.
  3. Enter a title (e.g., Thermodynamics), pick an accent color, and select your subject domain.
  4. Tap Create.

To add any video to your Marklist, simply tap the Bookmark / Add to Marklist icon on any video card or player screen.
