On many Android smartphones—particularly devices manufactured by Xiaomi (MIUI/HyperOS), Samsung, OnePlus/Oppo/Realme, and Vivo—aggressive manufacturer battery optimization algorithms automatically terminate background accessibility services after a few hours or when the phone enters standby mode. Here is how to keep Quietube running uninterrupted.
1. Xiaomi, Redmi & POCO (MIUI / HyperOS)
- Open Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > Quietube.
- Enable Autostart.
- Tap Battery Saver and select No Restrictions.
- Open your Android Recents app switcher, long-press on the Quietube card, and tap the Padlock icon to lock Quietube in memory.
2. Samsung (One UI)
- Open Settings > Battery and device care > Battery.
- Tap Background usage limits.
- Tap Never sleeping apps and add Quietube to the list.
- Under Apps > Quietube > Battery, select Unrestricted.
3. OnePlus, Oppo & Realme (OxygenOS / ColorOS / Realme UI)
- Open Settings > Battery > More settings > App battery management.
- Select Quietube and enable both Allow background activity and Allow auto-launch.
- In Recents view, tap the three dots beside Quietube and choose Lock.
4. Vivo & iQOO (Funtouch OS)
- Open Settings > Battery > Background power consumption management.
- Find Quietube and select Allow high background power consumption.
Following these steps ensures Quietube's focus blocker remains active and reliable throughout all your study sessions.
