Studying in libraries, basements, rural areas, or during daily commutes often means dealing with spotty Wi-Fi or intermittent cellular connections. Quietube includes intelligent Offline Caching and Resilience so your studies are never interrupted by network drops.

What Works Offline?

When your device is offline or in Airplane Mode:

  • Saved Study Notes: All your timestamped notes and lecture takeaways are cached locally on your device and remain fully readable and editable.
  • Subject Marklists: Your Marklist binders and lecture bookmarks are stored in high-speed local memory and can be browsed without an internet connection.
  • Quiet Sessions & Timers: Focus timers, Pomodoro cycles, and distraction-blocking engines function 100% locally without requiring internet access.
  • Focus Insights: All daily study minutes and reels-blocked counts continue tracking locally.

What Happens When You Reconnect?

Quietube continuously monitors network status:

  1. As soon as a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data signal is restored, the synchronization engine engages automatically.
  2. Any notes edited or added offline are seamlessly synced to your cloud study profile.
  3. Accumulated XP and study statistics are pushed to your cloud profile.

Troubleshooting Offline Loading Issues

If you see a network banner while attempting to load a new YouTube lecture, check your Wi-Fi or mobile data connection and tap Retry. If you are using a VPN or firewall app, ensure Quietube is whitelisted so lecture video streams can load smoothly.
